The application proposes to amend the Official Plan and Zoning By-law to permit Phase 2 of the Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC) Lawrence Heights revitalization, with new and reconfigured public streets, a public park and community uses, and residential development ranging from 6 to 28 storeys in height. Phase 2 includes the replacement of 213 Phase 2 social housing units, 64 replacement units from Phase 4, and the creation of 180 new TCHC affordable units and 961 market units. 1,354 parking spaces, and 1,318 bicycle parking spaces are proposed. A related Rental Housing Demolition and Conversion application will be reviewed concurrently with the Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment Application to permit the demolition and replacement of 121 rental dwelling units. The proposal includes a Draft Plan of Subdivision application that would create Application to create new and reconfigured public streets, public parks and 8 new Toronto Community Housing lots, to permit new and replacement residential development in Phase 2 of TCHC Lawrence Heights revitalization.
